Losar Fest
This is our first LOSAR event since the pandemic. We are so excited to announce this FREE event on Feb 18th, 2023. An all-day celebration like you have never seen before. NYTSC students have prepared beautiful performances in Tibetan and English and win prizes from our $5 raffle tickets. Join us this lunar new year to learn about the Tibetan new year, check out the LOSAR market, grab a bite, and have a wonderful time!

Parenting 101 Workshop
Gather at NYTSC to discuss some important questions concerning parenting children. This workshop is targeted towards Tibetan and Himalayan families who are struggling to bridge the gap between older family members and younger generations.
Topics may range from communicating with you child, managing behavior, anger issues and social emotional learning for children. Parents and families meet during this session to better understand their child; to understand a new culture and different methods of raising a child here in America.
SEL Workshop for Tibetan/Himalayan Community
This workshop is form of workshop meant to help individuals dealing with stress, lack of emotional support and other forms of distress in their life. Often in Asian communities, Mental Health is downplayed and stigmatized causing many individuals to resort to unhealth behaviors and shutting themselves down.
